Mora Mixson Hartley, 87 of Williston passed away peacefully at home Feb. 18, 2018 and has gone to Heaven to be with Jesus.
Lovingly referred to as "Nana" and the "Main Mama," she was surrounded by many loved ones. After a private memorial service Feb. 19, she was laid to rest at the Jesse Mercer Willis Cemetery in Williston.
She is survived by daughters, Georgia Faye (Tommy) Hanssen, More Lee (Robert/Butter) Head, Janet Kathleen Stanley; son, Lee Patrick Hartley Jr., daughter, Susan Jane (Chip) Webb; sister, Gertie Mixson Rose; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Sheriff Lee Patrick Hartley Sr.; daughter, Rebecca Ann Hartley; son, Michael Mixson Hartley and daughter-in-law, Virginia Griffin Hartley.
