Robert "Bob" Gerald Beverly, 80, a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Jan. 3, 2013, in Tallahassee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon Beverly and wife, Rissie Dotson Beverly; four brothers and eight sisters.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Boone Beverly; three daughters, Colleen (Billy) Beverly Scheel, Danica, Lindsay and Cooper of Williston; Kelley (Michael) Beverly Giddings, Ivan and Lane of Gainesville and Paige (Bo) Beverly Hiers, Conner, Cori and Cash of Williston; two stepsons, Michael (Laureen) McElroy, Lily and Emma of Tallahassee and Stephen McElroy, of California, Md. and a sister, Alberta "Bert" (Clate) Phipps of Hartwood, Va. and many loved nieces and nephews.
?Mr. Beverly was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Clintwood, Va.. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a Methodist by faith. In his wonderful life of 80 years he was involved in the rodeos, car racing, boxing, SCUBA diving and sky diving. He was also a stunt pilot and was a Virginia State Champion in archery.
A celebration of Bob's life will be Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at his daughter's home.
