Enjoyed writing poems
Teresa LeCates, 54 of Trenton, died on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties in Chiefland. She was born in Jonesboro. Ark., and has resided in the area for 20 years. Mrs. LeCates was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping, plastic canvas crafts, writing poems and playing Farmville. She is survived by her husband, Michael LeCates; a son and daughter in law, Tony and Jennifer Hinckley; a daughter, Mellisa Poletti; mother in law, Barbara Scott; three brothers in law, Brian, David and Chris Scott; a sister in law, Carrie Liston; seven grandchildren, Lane Carnes, Jacob Burns, Sterling Hinckley, Hunter Hinckley, Jayden Hinckley,Timissa Poletti, Madison Hinckley and a great-grandson, Ty Carmes. Mrs. LeCates was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Nathan Hinckley, grand daughter, Mackenzie Hinckley, father in law, Victor Scott and a sister, Tina Long. The Memorial Service will be Thursday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Chapel in Chiefland. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
