Melissa Ann Neal, 43, died unexpectedly Dec. 14, 2012 at her home in Williston.
She was of the Baptist faith. She attended school at Williston Christian Academy, graduating in 1987. She was of a generous heart, with a love for children and all animals especially her feline companion, BO. She was creative and was adept at working in crafts. She was a faithful caregiver and giver of her time helping those sick and in need.
She was born Dec. 11, 1969 at Williston Memorial Hospital to the late William R. "Skeebo" Eatman Jr. and Billie Eatman Hethcoat.
She is survived by her step-father, Robert Gerald Hethcoat and her mother, Billie Eatman Hethcoat; sisters, Melanie (John) Stokes, Lake City and their children, Landon and Jordon; Kimberly (Scott) Smith, Deatsville, Ala. and their children, Devan and Grayson; Heather (John),McCann, Ellicot City, Md. and their children, Ryland and Ella; her paternal aunt Carolyn Eatman Taylor, Ocala; maternal aunts, Rochelle Bloniarz, Mary Ann Martin and Linda Johnson.
She wass preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Otis and Pearl Carter, William and Jacqueline Eatman and brother, Kelly.
Funeral services were held Dec. 19 at Knauff Funeral Home-Williston. Interment followed at Orange Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tim Tebow Foundation 2220 CR 210 W Suite 108, PMB 317 Jacksonville, FL 32259.
Arrangements were under the care of Knauff Funeral Home-Williston.
