Robert Lee Thrilkill(1947 - 2013)

Robert (Bob) Thrilkill passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by family. Bob was a longtime Willits resident, working in Mendocino County for 48 years. Prior to retiring, Bob worked for Mendocino County Buildings and Maintenance Department.
Bob was a lifelong fisherman and enjoyed camping, trips to the beach with his family to fly kites, and being with his family and friends.
Bob loved life and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen; daughter Christine Thrilkill; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Heather Thrilkill; and grandchildren Rishara, Mikayla, Kyle and Ayden Thrilkill. Additional surviving family members include Skip and Ester Walker, and Joe Valloni of Oregon; mother-in-law Portia Banthrall; Shirley and Richard Southwell, and Linda Moniz of Idaho; and Ed Smith of Utah. Bob also leaves nine nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie and Bess Thrilkill, sister Judy Valloni, nephew Kenny Valloni, and sister-in-law Kathy Smith.
Bob's favorite charities were the Make A Wish Foundation and the Mendocino County Firefighters Burn Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Brooktrails Community Center on Saturday, January 12, at 1 p.m.
