She was born May 15th, 1920 in Booneville, CA. She will be remembered as a great mom, sister, grandma, and best friend. She was always there when needed and helped all. She was a Boy Scout and Blue Bird leader while she lived and raised her children in Willits and Santa Rosa. She loved a great adventure like traveling to Oakland for school, where she learned piano and became an avid lover of music, to going to Hawaii with a friend. She was raised in Spy Rock when the railroads were still going north with her father's help. This had to be the reason why she loved to travel so much. They later moved to Willits where she graduated from Willits High School in 1938.
