June 20, the last day of spring, "Tatu Kelly" lay down for a nap in his garden among the California Redwoods and died peacefully.
Born February 5, 1957 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Kelly was, to all who knew him, a one-of-a-kind individual. He was an artist's artist. Kelly loved his dogs, especially Diablo (Duke) and Cookie. He loved forest critters of all kind. Musically, Doc & Merle Watson, among others, held him under a permanent spell. Well, Doc, Merle and Harley, I should say. That's the music of one of his Harley Davidsons and the wind whistling through his hair...
