George was born on January 12, 1925 in Cutler, CA to Floyd and Dwade Martin. After serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, he worked for Pacific Bell for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers, a member of the Elks, and a member of the LDS Church. He was predeceased by his parents; six siblings; his first wife, Rae Jean; two daughters, Dorothy Jo and Penny Lee. He leaves his wife, Bennie of 24 years; daughters, Deirdre, Annette, and Tina; stepsons, Richard and Paul; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on April 20, 2013 at the LDS Church on Mariposa at 10:00 a.m.
