Bobbye Lynne Meyer, 83, of Buhl, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013. Bobbye was born July 8, 1929 to Melvin and Mabel (Peck) Young in Miami, Oklahoma. In 1972 Bobbye moved to the Magic Valley area of Idaho. It was there she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) S. Meyer. They married in 1975. Bobbye and Bob spent much time gardening and traveling to auctions in search of antiques. Bobbye enjoyed her plants and loved working outside in the yard. When flowers and weeds weren't in hand, a good book always was.
Family meant everything to Bobbye. Holidays were always a special time. Her home was constantly filled with the sounds of laughter and smells of home cooking. There always seemed to be room for one more place at her table. She was very involved with lives of her beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her friends were part of her family. Bobbye leaves a legacy of love for family.
Bobbye showed a quiet strength and dignity in every aspect of her life. She faced her many challenges with graciousness. She was blessed with 10 to 11 lives, surpassing the normal "9 lives".
