Louis "Bud" Robbins, 92, of Lynn, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Forest Park Health Center, Richmond.
He was born January 5, 1922 in Lynn to the late Loy and Margaret (Fowler) Robbins. He was a 1941 graduate of Lynn High School. He owned and operated Robbins Dental Lab for 65 years in Lynn. On March 27, 1943, he married Rita (Parker) Robbins of Abington. Bud served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He enjoyed auto racing and the Indianapolis Colts. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Rita Robbins of Lynn; a daughter, Sue (Terry) Comer of Lynn; four granddaughters, Lindsay (Cody) Bruns of Union City, Ind., Jessica (Ryan) Cheeseman of Farmland, Stacy (Darren) Robertshaw of Bonita Springs, Fla., Stephanie (Chris) Williams of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two grandsons, Shannon (JoAnne) Pryor of Winchester, Calif., and Ezekiel (Brittany) Robbins of Fort Myers, Fla.; 13 great grandkids, Joseph and Jessica Ruggiero, Kiira and Kayia Robertshaw, Christian and Cooper Williams, Nicholas, Sophia, and Sarah Pryor, Bryson and Owen Robbins, Claire Marie Cheeseman and Cade Matthew Bruns; two great-great grandkids, Leonardo Joseph Ruggiero and Carter Robertshaw; four nephews, Tim (Holly) Love,  Rick (Kathy) Parker, Chris (Tammy) Parker, and Mike Parker; and one niece, Patty Morgan. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Marty Robbins; a sister, Marilyn Love; a brother, Richard Fowler; and a niece, Sharon Wooten. 
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Spartanburg Christian Church, 6714 E. 700 S., Lynn, with Pastors Ray Ellis and Brian Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Richmond.
Friends and relatives may call from 2- 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Walker Funeral Home, Winchester, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.walkerswinchester.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Christian Church.
