Marilyn Wolfe, 81
Marilyn A. Wolfe, 81, of Winchester, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her home. She was born February 21, 1931, in Pontiac, Mich., to the late Charles and Florence (Lynch) Melvin. Marilyn graduated from Michigan State University and received her masters degree from Ohio State University. She retired from Driver Middle School, Winchester. Marilyn was an avid reader and enjoyed reading the Bible. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Marilyn was a devoted wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Verl Wolfe of Ridgeville; a son, Charles (Rachael) Wolfe of Ridgeville; three nieces, Missy Melvin, Daryl Ramsey and Leslie Korte; several great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and her dog, Jasmine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Herbert and Richard Melvin; and a sister, Shirley Trigg.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester, with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Cemetery, Winchester.
