Nancy J. Wagner, 63, of Winchester, formerly of Lynn, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Randolph Nursing Home, Winchester.
She was born January 11, 1949 in Winchester to the late Harry and Leona (Abernathy) Norman. She was a 1967 graduate of Randolph Southern High School and had worked at Cinram in Richmond for many years. Nancy formerly attended the White River Friends Meeting in Winchester and was an avid owl collector. Her favorite color was red. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, making crafts and being outdoors. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis and drinking Coca-Cola. Nancy loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and enjoyed collecting leaves.
Survivors include her two daughters, Charlene Wagner (Dennis Lankford) of Lynn and Bobbie (husband Mike) Melton of Lynn; four grandchildren, Kristen Melton, Jessica Brown, Macey Melton and Brandon Brown; two sisters, Catherine (husband Chuck) Thomason of Richmond and Meshelle Sterling of Winchester; two brothers, Dennis Norman of Tucson, Ariz., and Jeff Norman of Bluffton; six nieces and nephews, Heather (husband Keith) Grosvenor, Matthew Sterling, Shaun Thomason, Melissa Norman, Michael Thomason and Thomas E. Norman, II.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by two brothers, Matthew Norman and Thomas E. Norman, I.
A memorial service is 6 p.m. Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester.
