Charles Leroy Finn, 71, of Winchester, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Vincent Randolph Hospital, Winchester.
He was born September 6, 1942 in Pontiac, Mich., to Charles Frederick and Leta Mae (Pettit) Finn. He retired from Anchor Hocking Glass in Winchester. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps.during the Vietnam War. Charles was a former member of the Union City Eagles, the Winchester Moose Lodge, #1977 and the American Legion in Winchester. He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Betty (Miller) Finn of Winchester; his son, Scott Finn of Winchester; six stepchildren, Cecil (Angel) Cantrall of Winchester, Marsha (Fred) Davis of Ridgeville, William (Jenny Herron) Cantrall of Winchester, Susie Herron of Winchester, Penny Green of Alabama and Russell Cantrall of Winchester; 23 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; seven brothers; seven sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a step son, Robert Cantrall; and a step grandson, Josh Cantrall.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
