Lloyd Traynor Osborn, 88, passed away at home Wednesday, February 5, 2014.

He was born February 16, 1925 in Jackson, Mich., to E. Burt and Belva Marian Osborn. He was an engineer, a long time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, a Mason, and a World War II veteran. He was married to Hazel Marian Osborn for 45 years.
Survivors include a son, Thomas T. Osborn (Linda) of Winchester; a daughter, Anne M. Sullivan of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Emilie Sullivan of Indianapolis, Kathryn Sullivan-Gentz and Shawn Sullivan of Fort Wayne, Megan (Daniel) Morgan and Matthew (Rebekah) Osborn of Indianapolis and Rachael Osborn of Winchester; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marian; five siblings; and Lt. Joel Gentz (Kathryn).
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Road, Ft. Wayne.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, and one hour prior to services Sunday at the church. The family requests that memorials be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church or Animal Care and Control of Allen County in lieu of flowers.
