BONDY, Joseph Henry
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, Pipi and brother, Joe. After a courageous battle with cancer, Joe passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on March 3, 2012 at the age of 83. Forever loved by his wife Stella with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Devoted and cherished dad of Shirley, Joe (Karen), Tom (Jo-Ann). Predeceased by his parents Dona and Oscar Bondy. Beloved Pipi of Jennifer (Mike) Mathieson, Chris (Laurian), Michelle Pattenden, Sammy (Andrew), Justin Bondy, Dennis (Emily) Bondy and Step-Pipi of Ryan and Clinton Deslippe. Dear brother of Virginia, Margaret, Leonard (Catherine), Paul (Angie), Richard (Denise), Pat (Kaye), John (Rhonda), Tom (Classie), Tim (Debbie) and predeceased by his brother Bob (Sandra). Loved brother-in-law of Catherine (Dave) Shaw, Beverley (late Eric) Beaver, Shirley Bendel, Charles and the late Jeanie Wambolt. He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joe served in the R.C. Navy, was a member of the K. of C., R.C. Legion and the AMA Sportsman Club. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held March 10, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Church, 225 Brock St., Amherstburg. Visitation will take place at the Church at 10 a.m., with a mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. "Joe, you will always be in our minds and in our hearts".
