Anna TEMPLE Obituary
Passed away on August 10, 2012 at the age of 72. She is survived by Murray C. Temple, her beloved husband of almost 49 years. She is predeceased by her parents Helen and Peter Simchak, her sister Helen Todd, her nephews Gerald and Barry Todd and her niece Gaylane Quaife. Anna taught for 35 years at the University of Windsor in the School of Nursing, and later the Faculty of Nursing. She served as the Director of the School and later as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator. At Anna's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jack Dressler officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be left at www.marcottetecumseh.ca Arrangements entrusted to the Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Road East, 519-735-2830.

Anna Temple has been a dedicated member of the Windsor University Retirees' Association - WURA. We at WURA are shocked and saddened by the passing away of Anna. The WURA Executive has adopted a resolution to express our sympathy to the family and a $ 50 donation will be made in Anna's name to Retirees Bursary Fund.

Murray, Lynnette and I (Allan) were saddened to learn of Anna's death. Know that we will be with you in prayer. Dr Temple taught both myself and my sister in the undergraduate nursing program. She was a great teacher and an amazing human being. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. I am so sorry for your loss.

So very sorry to hear about Dr. Temple. I was the Nursing librarian for several years and she took great interest in the library collections for Nursing over the years. She will be much missed. My condolences to her family.
