Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Luisa (nee D'Angelo) for over 56 years. Loving father of Anna Pannunzio (Carmine), Bartolomeo Di Paolo (Donna), Mario Di Paolo (Sophia) and Remo Di Paolo (Linda). Cherished nonno of Marco (Maria), Paolo (Christina), Tania (Hassan), Tony, Luke, Elizabeth, Camille, Dean, Michael and Matthew. Cherished bis nonno of Vanessa, Carmine, Alessia, Sienna and Qasim. Dear son of Bartolomeo and Elisabetta Di Paolo, Predeceased by his siblings the late Anna Di Paolo, Lucia D'Alimonte (Antonio) and Rosalia D'Alimonte (Donato). Survived by siblings Giuseppe Di Paolo (Graziella) and Gino Di Paolo (Franca) of Florida. Dear Brother in law of Carmela D'Angelo, Salvatore D'Angelo (Anna) of Hagersville, the late Vittorio D'Angelo (AnnaMaria), Palmina D'Angelo (Cesidio) of Belgium and Anna DeThomasis (Joe predeceased). Antonio was a dedicated and loving family man. He enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and was often heard singing familiar Italian songs. Antonio will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Antonio worked at SKD Manufacturing for many years, and was a proud member of the Verdi Club. Special thanks to the staff of Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital for their care and compassion, especially Dr. Ravid, Dr. Malius, the nurses on 6 West and in the Intensive Care Unit. on Friday, April 27th from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Service from the funeral home on Saturday April 28th at 10:30 a.m. then to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow in the Amherstburg Mausoleum.
