Passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in his 98th year, peacefully in his sleep at home. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (2009) for 61 years. Loving and devoted father of David Casimer, Toronto; Debbie Harris (the late James), Dianna Deakin and husband Rob, Dorchester; and Paul Casimer, Leamington. Cherished, devoted and proud grandfather of Jenny and Dane Harris, Jessica Deakin, Christian and Samantha Casimer. Loving and devoted brother of Mary Carpenter, Alex Casimir and the late Joe Casimir. Cass will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Bernard served his country and was a veteran of WWII. Cass was a local businessman who owned and operated several Mac's Convenience Stores for many years. Dad you will be missed in our hearts forever. You will be remembered for your quick wit and sense of humour, dedication to family, love of reading and devotion to Elizabeth. At Cass' request cremation will take place. Visiting at St. Michael's Church, 21 Elliott Street, Leamington on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass to celebrate Cass' life at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
