La ROCQUE, Bernard (Ben) John Jospeh
Suddenly, at home, on October 5, 2012 at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of Edna (nee Gignac). Loving father of Victoria and husband Roger Desrochers, Denise and husband David Millar, Angela LaRocque, Rochelle and husband Korey Chapman, stepfather of Kathleen Towne and Christopher Towne and wife Natalie. Adored grandfather of Nathan, Caylee, Shaelyn Desrochers, Ashton and Roan Millar, and Ava and Joshua Towne. Dear brother of Bishop Eugene LaRocque, Dr. Raymond LaRocque and his late wife Jeanette, Bernadette Morand and husband Reginald and the late Geraldine Malenfant and her husband Russell. Son-in-law of Lucille Gignac. Brother-in-law of Roy and wife Susan Gignac and Theresa and husband Guy Ducedre. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Ben was a retired teacher who taught for 35 years for the Windsor- Essex Catholic District School Board. He was an avid golfer and had a hole-in-one in 2003. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4386 South Windsor. He enjoyed playing bridge at St. Theresa's bridge club. He was proud to be an usher at Corpus Christi Church. He was a staunch supporter of the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. with Knights of Columbus service Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Visiting will continue Monday 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 3:00 p.m. at
