CAREY, Brigadier Nargaret
(nee Pepin)
Promoted to Glory on December 9, 2012 at the Leamington Mennonite Nursing Home at 83 years of age after a sudden illness. Loving wife of Brigadier William Carey for 62 years. Mother of Bruce Carey and wife Karen, Dianne Mitchell and husband Stuart, David Carey and wife Barbara. Grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 2. Dear sister of Muriel Thompson and predeceased by brothers Clem Pepin, Bert Pepin and Earl Pepin. Margaret served the Lord as a Salvation Army Officer for 43 years, serving in many capacities across Canada with her husband Bill. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff on the Second Floor of the Leamington District Memorial Hospital and the Leamington Mennonite Nursing Home for their oustanding and compassionate care. Visiting will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel (1201 Grand Marais Road West) on Wenesday, December 12, 2012 from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m. A celebration of Margaret's life will take place at 1 p.m. with Majors Reg and Betty Pell officiating. Cremation to follow and the interment of Margaret's cremated remains will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to
