BURNAND, Herbert
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving and cherished father, pépé and grand pépé. Today we say good- bye to a true gentleman Herbert Burnand on January 20, 2013 surrounded by his family. Dad always showed a calm attitude and held a strength that helped us cope with his illness. "It is what it is" saying said it all. His acceptance and strength will never be forgotten. Herbert is reunited with his beloved wife Jeannette (nee Peladeau) (2004), whom he longed for since the day she left. He is the cherished father and best friend of Rick and wife Pauline, Kim and husband Jim Soucie and son Keith. Adoured pépé of Melissa and Derek, Christopher and wife Stefanie and Phillip and wife Madee. What brought that special twinkle to dad's eyes was the love and special bond he shared with his precious great grandchildren Calista and Jaxen, Caiden and sure to be our guardian angel for baby Burnand to be. He is also survived by his caring brother Jack and wife Linda, Michael and Anthea of England and late Roy of England. He will be fondly remembered by his life long friends Eric and Jean Lee. Will also be missed by many family and friends. Herbert ventured from England to Canada as a young lad, married his sweetheart Jan and raised their family. He is a retiree of Daimler Chrysler in the U.S. Our sincere gratitude to his entire health care team who provided compassionate care during this past year notably dad's nurse, Mary St. John and his PSW Gyoko Radonic and Kim Cervi.
