Welcomed into the arms of God, suddenly on December 6, 2012 at 67 years of age. Dear son of the late Daniel (1975) and Theresa (1999) Costello. Cherished brother of Jean Groshok, Gordon and Beatrice Costello, Brigid Malone, Patricia and Douglas McGilvery, and the late Mary Wickens (2005), William (1988), Joseph (1958), Dorothy Anne Krauskopf (2012), Bernard (1980), Daniel Jr. (1996), Margaret (1932). Beloved brother-in-law of Marian Costello, Rose Costello and Erma Costello and the late Ken Wickens, Peter Groshok, Joseph Malone, John Krauskopf. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Fr. Jack was ordained on May 9, 1970. He first served as an associate at St. Mary's Church Tillsonburg and Christ the King Church Windsor, then Pastor at St. Paul's Church LaSalle, Christ the King Church Windsor and Sacred Heart LaSalle. He was well known for his love of sports, especially hockey, where he will be remembered for his many years played with the Flying Fathers and golf, which he did whenever time allowed. Fr. Jack also proudly served as the Chaplain for the Windsor Police Association for 18 years. He was also a member and Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus Council #9500 Sacred Heart and a 4th Degree member of the Dean Wagner Assembly. KofC prayers Sunday 7:30 p.m. with the 3rd and 4th degree.
