GAGNON, Joseph Aldoria "Rosary Joe"
April 26, 1927 - April 8, 2012
On Easter Sunday, into the arms of his Lord Jesus. Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Jubenville) for over 64 years. Loving father of Brenda and spouse Len Mailloux, Penny and spouse Norm Dalgarno, Shannon Staley, Joseph Jr. and spouse Brenda, Collette and spouse Mike Caza, and Ted Gagnon. Loving pépé to Renee, Jay, Jenny, Sheena, Chris, John, Laura, Gerald, Heather, Josh, Hanna, Jamie, Doria, Arin, Matthew, Derek and Abby. Loving great-pépé to Jacob, Emma, Gracie, Tyler, Paisley, Sophie, Emily, William, Eva Jean, Noah, Paige, Morgan, Hunter, Lexi, Riley, Maximus, Aiden and Alyse. Son of the late Ovila and Rose Gagnon (Meloche). Dearest brother to Loretta, Clarence (Gig), Richard and the late Leo, Earnest (Ness), Eugene (Dane), Stella, Francis (Sonny), Goldina (Patau), Madeline (Panune), Cecilia (Fione) and Russel (Kye). Born one of thirteen children, Joe suffered illness throughout his lifetime. As part of a large and extended family we all enjoyed his musical gifts, especially his banjo skills. As a long- time member of St. Anne's Parish, Tecumseh, Dad was devoted and lived his faith proudly, fondly known as "Rosary Joe." Dad's rosaries have reached many places in the world: Ireland, Romania, Italy, Fiji as well as the United States and Canada. We are so proud of you, Dad. As the family of Rosary Joe we would like to thank Rosie Middleton, Danielle Bauer of the CCAC, Sam Rau of the Red Cross, Bayshore Home Health and St. Elizabeth. Peter Duma, James, Connie and all the staff from Novacare and Hospice for their care and compassion. St. Anne's Rosary Guild. Dad looked forward to the daily visits from Claude Tremblay and Leah Renaud who were instrumental in keeping Dad involved in the church and his faith. We would like to thank our families, who understood the privilege we felt to care for our father in the last few months of his life. God speed Dad. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2 to 5 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m at
