RAYMOND, Mildred Amy R.N. 89 years, passed away October 29, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Raymond. Dear mother of Diana Ardley and husband Dan, Anita Rumble and husband Bob. Loving grandmother of Eric Ardley and Jenn Hutchinson, Kara Charron and husband Shawn, Kimberly and Keith Rumble, Kristy and husband Daniel Mackell and great grandmother of Hailey and Spencer Charron. Dear sister of the late Clarence Crooks. Millie graduated from St. Mary's Academy and Hotel Dieu Hospital, where she was a nurse. She was also a Red Cross Instructor for 22 years and a member of the Red Hat Society. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830) on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. A final prayer will be held from the Funeral Home on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. then to Good Shepherd Parish, St. Gregory Site for the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Gary Goyeau, celebrant. Interment Ste. Anne Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Share a memory at www.marcottetecumseh.ca

Jo-Anne and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Millie’s family. I have always enjoyed working for your Mom over the years and having the opportunity to chat with her on so many occasions. It is so difficulty to let go of a loved one but I truly believe we will be with them one day again. So until that day comes when we can make new memories, let us treasure the old ones we already have.
