92 years, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter, grandson and son in law beside her on January 25, 2013. Devoted wife to the late James King and mother to the late James King Jr. Sister to Marjorie, Ida, Frank and Bridget of England. Survived by daughters Rhodena King, Patricia Baker, Margaret Baird (Victor), Gloria "Susan" Nadeau (Felix) and Wendy Hill (Brian). Loving Nan to Richard Lacelle, Laura Baird, Debbie Stewart (Jeff), James Baird, Erin King and Chris Lemieux. Loving step-Nan to Heather Osadczuk (Scott). Great-grandmother to Ashleigh & William Stewart and Jayla & Talan Osadczuk. A loving aunt to many nieces and nephews in England. "Pat" also known and loved by many as "Nan" was born in Wingham, Kent, England in 1920 and was a proud war-bride to James. She immigrated to Canada in the 1940's and lived in Montreal, Calgary, Newmarket & Windsor. Always proud of her British roots, she settled in Canada and was a loving housewife, mother and Nan. She was an avid knitter who enjoyed donating baby hats to hospitals for newborns. She loved to "have a little gamble" at bingo, the casino or the lottery. Always up for an adventure, she enjoyed travelling, pets, looking fashionable, bling, shopping, sweets and spending time in the garden with her family. Many thanks to Huron Lodge Care Home Sycamore Unit and all their loving staff. A special thanks to the girls in the craft- room & activities department for making her last years so enjoyable. At Pat's request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. If you so desire, Pat's wishes were that donations be given to the Wheelchair Hockey League (WCHL) - www.thewchl.com or the Windsor Essex County Humane Society.
