BUCHANAN, Raymond M.
1932 - 2012
80 years of age, passed away peacefully
with his loving family at his bedside at Hotel Dieu - Grace Hospital on Friday, November 30, 2012, into the loving arms of Our Lord. Cherished husband of Marilyn (née Renaud with whom he shared 59 years and three wonderful sons. Devoted and proud father
of Raymond, William (Woodstock, Ont.)
and Gary and wife Michele. Treasured grandfather of Kristen and Brendan Buchanan, to whom he was deeply devoted. Predeceased by his brothers Russell, Donald, and Robert. Dear brother-in-law to Donna Buchanan, Doreen Cameron (Ray 2011) and Melvin Renaud (Georgia 1990) (Geraldine). Raymond was a loyal, hard-working employee of the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board for 35 years who thoroughly enjoyed maintaining the heating / air conditioning of all the schools. He loved all nature, and spent many hours watching the different types of birds that flocked to several of his backyard bird feeders. A huge void in our lives has been left behind in the loss of a kind, gentle, loving man who always put his family and grandchildren before himself. Raymond was a lifetime parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Church in Windsor. If you so desire, donations to the , or, because of his love of birds and animals, the World Wildlife Fund of Canada (WWF), would be appreciated by the family. Visitation at
