RUSTON, Richard F. "Dick", (M.P.P., retired) 82 years, passed away on May 19, 2002 at Malden Park Centre, Windsor. Beloved husband of 59 years to Shirley (Cape). Dear father of Gary and wife Donna, Woodslee; Barbara Noel, Windsor; Rick and wife Cathy, Airdrie, AB; Stephen and wife Anne, Windsor; Wayne and wife Sandy, Windsor. Loving grandfather of Nadine, Nicole, Lisa, Jay, Jamie, Dean, Amber, Matthew and Troy. Predeceased by his brothers Wesley, Arthur, Ernest, Clifford, and a sister Dorothy. Dick was a Councillor of the Township of Maidstone 1960-1961, Reeve of the Township of Maidstone 1963-1967. Elected to the Ontario Legisla tive Assembly 1967 and served until his retirement in 1985. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Essex (776-4233) on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Dick's life from Woodslee United Church on Thursday May 23, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Joyce McManus officiating. Private family interment to follow. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County would be appreciated.
