COOPER, Samuel Malley
Peacefully, with family by his side on March 29, 2013 went to be with his Lord and Saviour at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Homme). Loving father of Gary & wife Pat Cooper, Barbara & husband Mark Gellner, Bonnie & husband Eric Bjorkman. Cherished grandpa of Christopher (Lindsay), Julianne (Trevor), Janine (James), Jane, Isaac (1997), Cynthia (Joey) and Aaron (Sarah). Treasured great-grandpa of Nathan, Hannah, Bethany, Sarah, Kayli, Brooklyn, Joshua and Noah. Samuel was a proud WWII Veteran and was retired from Chrysler Canada. He was a long-time member of Parkwood Gospel Temple and was known for his participation in the Remembrance Service for Veteran's reciting the poem, "In Flanders Fields". Samuel found joy in ministering to others in song in various local nursing homes. Visiting Monday from 3-5pm & 7-9pm at
