Gone to be with her Lord and Saviour, the rock of our family has passed away suddenly on October 11, 2012 at her home at 93 years of age. Daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Shanahan. Beloved wife of the late Gerald O'Connor (1968). Dear mother of Maureen, Mary (late Tip) Leroux, Jimmy (Diane), Elaine (Larry) McCarthy, Bobby (Diana), Ricky (Joanne), Jo-Anne (late Glenn) Campbell, Kimberly and the late Kathy, Donnie, Gerald (Ellen), Patrick, Jackie, and Sharon (Gil) Parent. Treasured grandmother of 40 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Leo, Gerald, Raymond, Helen, John, Thomas, Vincent, Rita, Jim, Dorothy, Mildred, Norm, Rose, and Donald. She will be sadly missed by Tammy and Tommy Alexander as well as the entire O'Connor family. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sadie was a longtime member of Holy Name of Jesus Church.
