STANWICK, Stanley Joseph
Passed away peacefully with family at his side on July 12, 2013, at the age of 94. Survived by wife Carole Stanwick (1979-present) and predeceased by wife Lia (Vadori), married 1947-1977. Loving father of Lynda Stanwick Hijazi, Blake (Sally) Stanwick, Lois (Paul) Rindlisbacher and Lorene (Doug Hennessy) Stanwick. Dear stepfather of Douglas, James, and Janice Green. Cherished grandfather to Adam, Mathew, Jenna, Elliot and Jessica. Survived by brother Joe (Alison). Predeceased by brothers Casey and Ted. Born 1918 in Melrose, Manitoba. Served in WWII Royal Canadian Army, Winnipeg Ordinance Corps. Worked at Ford Motor Company from 1942-1984, member Local 240 and Ford Retiree Association. Stanley was an avid bowler, golfer and fastball pitcher. Stan loved his family, enjoyed his life and was always happy to share a laugh. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME
