DENNY, Thomas (Tom) Bernard
Phillip Kennedy
Born in Scotland on August 2, 1924. He was married to his beloved wife, Vi (Fraser) and proud dad to Sandra (Tim), doting grandfather to Jenni and Kirsti and cherished uncle to Elaine and Mhairi (U.K.). On leaving school he enlisted into the army, serving with the First Division Parachute Regiment, captured at Arnhem and was a P.O.W. for 18 months. On being demobbed he joined the City of Glasgow Police rising to the ranks of Inspector. According to Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. Sincere gratitude and thanks to the doctors and staff on the cancer ward at Met. Hospital for their care and compassion during his last days. There will be a Memorial Service at Belle River United Church on December 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., all friends are cordially invited. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Transition to Betterness at Met. Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to
