PITULKO, Wiesh "Frank"
After his brief struggle with cancer, it was with heavy hearts that we said good-bye to Wiesh on April 4, 2013. Born in Poland, he grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, a city which he loved. He attended the University of Edinburgh, and taught secondary school there prior to coming to Canada in 1968. He had planned to return to Scotland in two years, but he met his loving wife Nancy of 43 years, and remained in Windsor. He had a passion for teaching and for his volunteer service of 26 years with the Auxiliary O.P.P. He was an avid harmonica player and enjoyed the many jam sessions with his wife's extended families and playing at the Ceilidhs in P.E.I. He will be sadly missed by his wife Nancy, his daughter Katherine Miller, his son- in-law Geoffrey and granddaughter Lauren. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and their annual golfing reunions, his weekly movie buddies of 35 years, and his many friends. His quick wit, his scholarly speech and his impish grin will long be remembered. If you so desire, donations to Hospice of Windsor or Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation Sunday 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 9:00 p.m. at
3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor,
On Monday, family and friends are invited to meet at Assumption Church, 350 Huron Church Road, for a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Share memories, photos or make a donation at
