BENNETT, William "Bill"
BENNETT, William "Bill" Bill left us too soon on Friday, May 18, 2012 after a battle with cancer at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by wife Judy Bennett (2001) and former wife Deni Vannatter (2006). Also predeceased by parents Alma and Norman Bennett (St. Thomas). Bill was a loving and devoted father to Susan Bennett and friend Thane Kelsey, Robin Malott and husband Jim, Chantelle Edwards and husband Dan, James Lawhead and wife Thresia. Special grandfather to Brian, Ashley, Steve and Brad Malott, Jenn Kelsey and Mitchell and Hayley Edwards. Dear brother to the late Gary Bennett (2010), Linda Roe and husband Ken and Cathy Ward and husband John. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Bill was a member of the R.C.L. Br. #261. Bill was an employee of Roadway- Allied Systems for over 37 years. Bill will be forever missed and remembered by all those who Knew and loved him. In Bill's honour a memorial leaf will be placed on the wall in Pinafore Park Memorial Garden in St. Thomas, ON., Bill's hometown. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Victoria Memorial Gardens, 1185 Highway #3, Windsor on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. After this service, a reception will be held at "On the Green" Golf Center, 354 Croft Avenue, Tecumseh, Ontario from 2-4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Marcotte Funeral Home, Tecumseh (519-735-2830).
