DOWIE, William A.
Peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on February 15, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 66. Cherished husband and best friend of Carole (nee LeBoeuf) for 42 years. Adored daddy of LeighAnne Dowie & Laura and Marc- André. Beloved son of the late Victor & Stella Dowie. Loving brother of Donna Sinclair, Victor Dowie & Lynda, Victoria Bizzotto & Gino. Dear brother-in-law of Robert Rivard & Jenn. He was a proud uncle of Rob, Kenneth & Francine, Debra & Robert, Elizabeth, Cheryl & Martin, Debra & Luc, Jennifer & Tom, Robert, and Karen & Jeff. Bill retired from Chrysler after 34 years of dedicated service. He was a proud foster parent and mentor with the CAS for 25 years and was a volunteer driver. He leaves his legacy of love of family and many memories of fun travels. Bill was a 3rd degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. In kindness, donations to the Hospice of Windsor-Essex County or Malden Park would be appreciated by the family. The family kindly asks that the visitation and mass be a "perfume-free zone" due to a severe allergy. Visitation Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. K of C and parish prayers 7:30 p.m. Funeral Wednesday 10:15 a.m. from FAMILIES FIRST
