FRIEND, Jack William
Passed away courageously and peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends at Windsor Regional Hospital, on March 2, 2014 at the age of 60. Predeceased by his parents Andrew (1980) and Ozzie (2005), and his wife Mary Breault (1994). Survived by brothers Robert (Irene), Doug (Noemi), sister Kathleen (Jim) Trueman, fiancée June Bisetto, many nieces and nephews. His special feline friends Runner and Awesome. Jack was a former member of the HMCS Hunter, naval vets and Moose Lodge. Among his many jobs Jack served as a Security Guard Force 4 at the Windsor Salt Mine. He will be remembered for his love of bowling, darts, going to Bingo and always having a joke to tell. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses & CCAC who helped care for Jack during his illness. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Downtown Mission or for the Love of Paws Animal Rescue. Visitation Thursday from 2-4 p.m., Naval Vet Service Thursday 3 p.m. under the auspices of the R.C.N.A. visitation will continue from 5 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. at
