KIRBY, Douglas Scott
It is with broken hearts, that the family of Douglas Kirby, announce his sudden passing on Monday March 3, 2014 at the age of 55. Beloved husband and best friend of Stephanie (DeMarco). Loving and devoted father of Scott and Steven. Loved son of Mildred and the late Lloyd Kirby (2013) and loved son-in-law of Mary DeMarco and the late Joseph DeMarco. Dear brother of Tom and wife Cheryl, Dan and wife Sandy, David and wife Anna. Special brother-in-law of Mike DeMarco, MaryJo DeMarco and husband Pete Jacobs. Terrific uncle of Ashley, Tyler, Matthew, Alexandra, Andrew, Nathalie, Eric, Lise and Evan. Douglas started his career in the mold making industry at Center Tool & Mold and ended it at Valiant Tool & Mold Inc. He loved to coach his sons in hockey, treasured his outdoors, especially his gardens and also enjoyed travelling, fishing, and his Montreal Canadiens. He will be truly missed by so many people as he was so well liked in his work, at play and of course to all those who were around him. If you so desire, donations to a trust fund for Scott and Steven, with cheques payable to The Kirby Boys Trust Fund or Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
