PITRE (nee Thompson), Lori
43 Years – On March 11, 2014
Surrounded by her family and friends at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Sadly missed by loving husband Dan and son Cole. Beloved daughter of Dale Thompson and Mary Thompson. Dear sister of Chris (Susy), Robin, Andrea and Andrew (Deceased – 1994). Lori was a previous graduate of Assumption College High School (1988) and the University of Ottawa (Social Sciences – 1994) and Georgian College (Human Resources Management – 2003).The Pitre / Thompson families would like to acknowledge the support and professionalism of the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario and St. Michael's Hospital – Trauma and Neurosurgery Unit and The Trillium Gift of Life in Toronto, Ontario. We would also like to thank the Toronto Police Service and Mondelz North America for their never ending support. Funeral Arrangements are as follows: Visitation – Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 6:00PM - 9:00PM at the Steckley- Gooderham Funeral Home Minet's Point Road Chapel, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, Ontario, L4N 4C2, (705) 721-1211, minetspoint@steckleygooderham.com A Roman Catholic Mass will be held to celebrate Lori's life at St. John Vianney Parish, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, ON L4N 2W1, (705) 726-8007 on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers and / or donations to a charity, a Trust Fund will be set up for Cole Pitre.
