Hazel Mary (nee Reay) Nelson
Passed away peacefully on March 13, 2014, at the age of 78. Loving wife of the late Ray Nelson (2004). Beloved best friend and mother of Wendy Dufour and husband Shawn. Mother of Linda Barkhouse. Dearest Baba of Aveline, Nicholas, Alyssa, Allison and Jennifer. Sister of Alan Reay (the late Nancy). Hazel worked as a Secretary at the Salvation Army Public Relations Department for many years. She was well loved and touched the hearts of all who knew her. A special thank you to the staff at Seasons Amherstburg, CCAC, and the ICU staff at WRH-Ouellette Campus for all your love and support through this journey.

on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 17, 2014, at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home, 1525 Highway #3, Oldcastle (519-969-3939) from 12 noon until the time of the chapel service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
