COUCHMAN, John Charles
Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by immediate family on May 27, 2014 at the age of 90. Loving husband of Edith for over 60 years. Proud and supportive father of Michael (Donna) and Thomas (David). Will be missed by many family members including nephew David Couchman and nieces Barbara Burling and Patricia Harrison. John will also be missed by associates from his work as an architect and many lifelong friends. John enjoyed golfing at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club and achieved a hole in one there in 1968. John, recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the O.A.A. (Ontario Architecture Association) for his work as Past President. John, a WWII RCAF veteran, was very active in the restoration of the Windsor Lancaster, in particular the design and construction of the Lancaster navigation display. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the many nurses and caregivers who provided amazing support during the last 4 months. A Celebration of John's life will be held at Beach Grove Golf & Country Club on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to
