HAZELTON, Earl R.
1933 - 2014
Dad took his last breath surrounded by his loving family, his former spouse, long time companion and her daughters on July 25, 2014. Formerly married to Vivian (Dufour) for 21 years and continued to be friends after their marriage. Cherished father of Sharon Carrillo (nee Hazelton), Helen Hazelton, Robin Hazelton, Christine Fisher (nee Hazelton), and Earl N. Hazelton (Shannon). Proud grandfather of Joey and Christopher (Marcie). Long time companion of Margret Carpenter and her daughters Jennifer and Susan. Predeceased by parents Robert J. and Beatrice (nee Ladouceur) Hazelton and by siblings Clarence, Hazel, Jack, Shirley, Marilyn, Barbara, Lyle (Bud), Bobby, Russell, and Stanley. Special uncle to the late Terry Hazelton who used to call often to talk about boxing. Missed by several other nieces, nephews, and friends. Retired employee of Premier Concrete. He will be missed by his friends in the Euchre Club where he will be remembered as being a great player. He loved to fish with his family at the River. A tradition started by grandpa for Joey and Christopher of tearing $100 bill years ago and giving each half so the two would come together annually to collect their $50 will continue every year. Former father in law of Joseph Carrillo, Bob Dzierkowski, and Frank Fisher. Donations made to the Meals on Wheels would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. A memorial services will be on Tuesday 10 a.m. at Open Bible Fellowship (5675 Malden, LaSalle). Arrangements entrusted to
