McMULLEN, Murray Earl DVM
81 years. After a long battle, courageously fought, Dr. Murray McMullen succumbed to Myelodysplastic Syndrome on July 31st 2014. He will be sadly missed by Constance, his wife of 58 years. He was the cherished father of Shelley (Orest), Murray Jr., Mark, Michael (Victoria), and Grant (Leslea) and beloved papa of Alison, Jordan, Declan, Annah, Cian, and Olivia. He is survived by siblings, Stan, Erma, Charlene, Sheila and their families. Murray will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, numerous colleagues and many close friends. Murray was a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Toronto. He was an exceptional veterinarian who practiced in Windsor and Michigan for almost 50 years. Murray loved his profession and will always be remembered for his dedication to it. His keen sense of humor and his intellectual curiosity will be missed by all who knew him. He is remembered by his many clients for his expertise and the compassion and care he gave to their beloved pets. In later years, Murray enjoyed spending time at his Florida home, golfing with his sons and friends, taking road trips in his motor home, and relaxing with the family cat. His family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Schiffer at the Karmanos Cancer Institute and the entire 8th floor staff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ontario Veterinary College. Cremation has taken place and an open house for a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial visitation Sunday 3-8 p.m. at
