KARRER, Miquette
88 years of age, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2014. She was born in Switzerland but called Canada her home since 1952. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar "Eddie" (2009) to whom she was married for 57 years. She leaves behind a daughter Susan (John) White of Perrysburg, Ohio, grandchildren Stephanie (John) Bleau of Toledo, Ohio, Michael (Desiree) White of Perrysburg, Ohio and great-grandchildren Lexi and Ava Bleau and John Benjamin "JB" and Lily White. Miquette, along with her husband Eddie, were co-owners of the Bob- Lo Tavern in Amherstburg until 1956 and co- owners of the Sunnyside Tavern in LaSalle until 1972 when they retired. Miquette and Eddie enjoyed their retirement, travelling the world. She was an avid curler with the Windsor Curling Club until her late sixties. Miquette loved to knit and crochet and continued both until her death. Cremation has taken place. A private family service has been held. Arrangements entrusted to FAMILIES FIRST.
