JONES, Donna Mary (nee Duff) July 2, 1964-June 27, 2011 After a long and arduous struggle with cancer, Donna has peacefully gone to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ at the age of forty-six. She was a loving Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and friend who did not allow this insidious disease to stop her and enjoyed life to the fullest! She seemed to be perpetually graced with that friendly smile and twinkling eyes that said, "You are welcome, glad you're here, I am interested in what you have to say." We all LOVE you Donna and you will be missed. Surviving this beautiful woman are her husband Michael, and children Matthew (Shauna), Mary and Mark, all of Windsor. Parents John and Elizabeth (Betty) Duff. Siblings are Deborah, Diane (Dominic), Aversa, John, Jim (Carmen), Darlene (Brad) Butler, Joseph and Doreen, all of Windsor/Essex. Also survived by brother in-law James Jones. She will be missed by numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins from all sides of her family. Donna loved to travel and was privileged to visit many places with Mike and her family. She was also a member of the Wonder Broads of Windsor & Essex County. She loved to paddle and when she couldn't any longer, loved to cheer them on. "Being with these girls makes me whole". And to the end they cheered her on. We would like to take this time to give our thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Hospice of Windsor/Essex. They welcomed us into their home and it felt like a home. Family and friends are welcomed to a "Celebration of Life" memorial to be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 visitation 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. (Parkwood Gospel Temple located at 3005 Temple Drive). Rev. Mark Hazzard officiating. In kindness, donations may be made to the Wonder Broads or any other breast cancer charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Dinner of thanks to follow Memorial Service.
