HIGGINS, Mack Llewellyn (July 26, 1947-July 7, 2011), resident of Forest, Ontario. After a courageous battle with cancer, Mack passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Mack was born in St. Thomas, Ontario and also resided in Windsor, Midland, North Bay, Callander, and Wheatley, Ontario. Mack was an entrepreneur and proud owner of Mobile Fire Safety Ltd, together with his son Jamie. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Sharon, and children Jamie (wife Suzi) and Kristin Vikse (husband Geir), grandchildren Leisha, Joshua, Riley and Liam, his sisters, sister in laws, brother-in-laws, Mother in law Joyce Claus, numerous nieces and nephews, and his chosen nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Mack and Vivian and Father in law Robert Claus. Mack always lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every day that life provided him. Mack loved spending time with all of his family and friends and was an avid hunter and angler. Mack loved travelling and was always looking forward to his next vacation. Young Funeral home, 430 Huron Street in Stratford, Ontario on Sunday, July 10 from 2- 4 pm and from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Mark Chester. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us who knew and loved you.
