BEZAIRE, Ivan Joseph
87 years, of Amherstburg, died peacefully June 29, 2012 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, in the presence of family. Beloved husband of 66 years to Betty Jane (nee McGuire). Devoted and loving father of Brian Bezaire and partner Marina MacDougall of Toronto, Elaine and husband Phil Arnsby of London, Dale and wife Nora Bezaire of Amherstburg, Denise Bezaire and husband Frank Roposs of Caledon, Mark Bezaire of Toronto, Karen Stein of Amherstburg, and Michelle Nicholson of Leamington. Dearest pépé to Nev and Danielle Bezaire, Megan and Cole Machon, Ivan Verlaan, Matthew and Alicia Davis, Nigel Incitti, and Elizabeth Stein. Step-pépé to Lana and Brian Bellamy. Survived by his sister Ruth Anne Maure of LaSalle, sister-in- law Isabel McGuire and his brothers-in-law Orville, Bernard and Joseph McGuire. Predeceased by his parents Ovide (1966) and Alexandrine (1990), sister Rita Laframboise (2002), Dorothy Bellemore (2007), Irene Dufour (1981), brother Noah (1995), sister- in-law Marianne Bondy (nee McGuire) (1974) and step-grandson Albert Bellamy (2012). Ivan farmed with his father in Anderdon Township. He was employed as surface maintenance welder at the Windsor Salt Mine for thirty years and was a member of the Chemsal Club at Ojibway. His favorite pastime was fishing at Rocky Island Lake in Northern Ontario, where he made many friends. Ivan was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Parish in River Canard.
