McCALLUM, David
Born April 29, 1950 in Windsor, passed away tragically July 13, 2012. Beloved husband and friend of Pauline (Levasseur). Loving father of Julie Breton and Jason, Cottam; Danny McCallum and Kristen, Kingsville; Christine McCallum, Essex; Tim McCallum and wife Stephanie, Essex. Dearest Papa of Hailey McCallum, Brandon McCallum, Emma and Hannah Breton, Paige, Halie, Jordyn Gibner, Sabryna and Nicholas Brooks. Dear son of Don and Alta McCallum; brother of the late Virginia (1958), Cheryl and John Krabbenbos, Dianne and Barry Kemp; brother-in-law of Raymond and Eveline Levasseur, Marcel and Brenda Levasseur, Diane and Jan Kwasnicki (Stiers), Annette and David MacKellar. Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Dave worked at Chrysler for 30 years and was known to many there as 'Farmer'. When Dave wasn't farming or working he enjoyed playing hockey, fishing, hunting and visiting. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy and he cherished every moment he spent with them. on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Tuesday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass to celebrate Dave's life will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot Street South, Essex. Fr. Rob Rocheleau officiating. (PLEASE NOTE – visiting at the church from 10 – 10:30 a.m.). Interment to follow.
