DUPUIS, Eli Adolphe
April 14, 1920 - February 19, 2013
After a brief illness, Eli Dupuis passed away peacefully at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre in Ottawa, ON. He was 92. Husband of 48 years to the late Alice Edna Dupuis (nee Mailloux). He will be missed by his children Nancy Napier (Danny) of Ottawa, ON, Gloria Pye (David) of Sechelt, BC and Douglas Dupuis (Lana) of Abbottsford, BC. His loss will also be felt by his grandchildren Brent Napier (Danielle), Christopher Napier (Jaclyn), Robert Vasarins, Brittney and Derrick Pye, Chelsea Webb (Gordon) and Katie Dupuis and his great grandchildren Hayden, Lillian, Cooper and Chloe Napier. Born in Tilbury, ON, Eli proudly served with the Essex Scottish Regiment from 1939 to 1944 during WWII. Eli retired from the Ford Motor Co. of Canada in Windsor in 1980 after 30 years of service and several distinguished awards for work related inventions. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of PRVRC for their heartfelt care and support of Eli during his stay at the Perley. A Mass will be said for Eli and his beloved Alice at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 804 Grand Marais Road East in Windsor, ON at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013.
