DRUMMOND, Mary Agnes "Babs"
(nee Firth)
Peacefully after a life well lived, Agnes "Babs" died on February 28, 2013 at the age of 92. Agnes was the daughter of Wilfred and Mary Geraldine Firth of Barrie, ON and sister of the late Rev. Francis Firth, CSB; the late Rev. Wilfred Firth, and Kathleen Watt of Banff, AB. For 64 years, Agnes was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Drummond (2009). Agnes will be dearly missed by her 5 children and their spouses; Judith Graham (Skip) of Harrow; Greg Drummond (Marcy Sharrock) of Kitchener; Michele Wiens of Hope, BC; Laura Ginter (Wes) of Swift Current, SK and Sheila Drummond (Don Flaming) of Medicine Hat, AB. Agnes was the beloved Gran of Peter Graham (Yen Chu), Rachel Janisse (Matt), Laura Graham, John Drummond (Karen), Dan Drummond (Cory), Elizabeth Flaming and Margaret Flaming, and Great Gran to Cohen, Isaac, Avery, Edward, and Luke. For many years, Agnes was a member of the Womens Association of the Windsor Symphony and of The Questors. Until prevented by age in her final years, she loved reading, music, bridge games and the Globe cryptic crossword. She cherished time with Art, their family and many good friends including the MacDonalds, Monaghans and Thiberts. The family wishes to thank all those who offered care and comfort to Agnes during her final years, including the staff of the Devonshire Seniors Residence in Windsor and the Royal Oak Long Term Care Centre in Kingsville. Visiting will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
