PHILLIPS, Dennis J.P. "Tiny"
November 23, 1925 - October 19, 2013
Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Hutchins) for 63 years. Loving father of Crystal. Will be missed by sister Terri Vargas. Reunited with his late parents Daniel and Agnes Phillips. Dennis served Canada during World War II in the Navy. He was an active member of the RCL Br. #255. In 1969 he was instrumental in the twinning with the American Legion Post 67 in Lincoln Park, Mich. He worked tirelessly with both governments to have both flags flown at each Legion. He was awarded the American Friendship metal. Dennis retired from the Windsor Police Services after 34 years of dedicated service. He was also a member of the War Pensioners Assoc. of Ontario and the Loyal Order of The Moose. Dennis was also a member of the Eagles in Lincoln Park, Mich. He will be missed by his many friends and will be remembered as a great conversationalist. Donations made to the Windsor-Essex Cancer Centre Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Monday from 1 p.m. until time of Service at 3 p.m. under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee and the R.C.L. Br. #255 at
