ALLSOP, Edna Marie (Bois)
(nee Renaud)
Born February 18, 1928. Passed away peacefully on November 18, 2013 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late George Young Allsop (2009). Loving mother of Rhea Morash (Art), and Thomas Bois (Brenda). Daughter of the late Luke and Beatrice Renaud and step-daughter of the late Luciené Renaud. Sister of Louise Beadon (the late Sid) of California, Rosemary Cook (the late Lloyd), Leona Maxwell (Tom), the late Ernest Renaud, the late Norman Renaud, and the late Leo Renaud. Step-sister of Rita Barrette (the late Victor), Mary Ann St. Onge, the late Herman Parent (Cecile), the late Pauline Buschowski, and the late Irene Renaud. Grandmother to Steve (Leslie) Morash, John (Beth) Morash, Andrea (Dennis) Bois Supic, Jennie Bois (Dean) Cooper), and Meredith Bois (Mike). Great- Grandmother to Ethan Morash, Abbie Morash, Dane Morash, Aleksander Supic, Nikolas Supic, Kelsey Bois, Brittany Griffin, and Courtney Griffin. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Edna retired from Sears after 25 years of service. She was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E.). A celebration of Edna's life will occur on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Edna may be made to the Alzheimer's Society. A special thank you goes out to the staff of Heron Terrace's Shallows Lane unit for their kindness and compassion.
